Special people
Special people I adore that elated feeling of anticipation and excitement when you meet someone new that really stands out from the rest of the pre-fab crowd. Individuality is not a package or pill or new trend. It isn't something you can buy or emulate--It comes from authentically living your life, the up-downs and even the sideways...Learning about your part in this world and the paths (and even quests) that you are meant to follow out in this brief and often frustrating journey. I don't want SHEEP as friends, I want PEOPLE. I want people that DON'T bow out, cancel, chicken-sh*t, and just fail to launch. I want human qualities and genuine expression, even if I don't understand or am unable to relate. I want the passion of life and the people that understand the strength of tears, the bliss of compassion and the strange karmic ironies that are emitted through change. I want depth and breadth and courage. I want people that aren't afraid of their shadows, but in fact embrace them in personal darkness. I wanted to write this to verbally appreciate the special ones for their originality and individuality. Never follow another's path, Carve out your very own... ~Bemused |

Ren and Stimpy are cool. At least before Nickelodeon bought them. John Kricfaluci ( the creator of Ren & Stimpy ) is a genuine special individual. Once Nickelodeon bought it and removed all the cacapoopoo humor and the sardonic edge to it, it plain old sucked! Krisfaluci's spirit was no longer there. Also what was super cool was The New Adeventures of Mighty Mouse which Kricfaluci co-directed with Ralph Bakshi. That animation is mostly unknown to the world because I believe it was cancelled after the first season for being "too radical". But it's where Kricfaluci picked up his professional head of steam before embarking on his Magnum Opus, Ren & Stimpy. PS. There was a way cool character from Mighty Mouse called "Flat Cat" who was a cat who had been run over by car. insert exploding bomb image here

Hey King... Wow! I've been waiting for a literate, intelligent and highly creative spirit to exchange thoughts with. BTW Your Art, that I've seen is incredible! So very impressed with your composition and intensity. As far as the Ren and Stimpy go...I couldn't agree more with the fact they sucked once Nicklodeon got their paws on them. I loved them so much before the corporate takeover. The reason I picked that particular image is the spoof on "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson. Both my Overlord and I love that Film and Book and we get such a kick out of how Ren and Stimpy exemplify some the character traits of both the main characters and their oblivious lust for personal destruction. "Devil Ether..." ~Bemused
