soul beat
soul beat there are snow drops in my garden and the earth yields under my feet. i am filled with desire. the windows are opened wide despite the cold; the air softer than the weeks before and i crave the birds' song. the rythym of the seasons speaks to the body, eh? i seek out different words to eat. whitman, faulkner, stegner and devour the richness of hope and despair and hope. my head seems larger, almost too big or maybe too heavy to carry or too light as though it will drift off my shoulders... which is it? both in fact or neither. or perhaps not mine at all. the dance of faeries, lighter than air. the dance of before. You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

Yes. I'm feeling it, too. Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale Her infinite variety. Other women cloy The appetites they feed, but she makes hungry Where most she satisfies. For vilest things Become themselves in her, that the holy priests Bless her when she is riggish. ~~ from Antony & Cleopatra

Even in the northeast, Wicked, spring eventually arrives. We did not seem to get those March teaser days, when it would be all hot and beautiful; but that is ok, as we know that they are just that, flirts. By early May, spring will be in full glory. Can you wait three more weeks? We don't have a choice, do we! Hugs to you Chas

I welcome the Spring foliage, the explosions of Bluebonnets and Azaleas. The language the season speaks to my body with includes allergies. John Lee Hooker Recommended: [blog lucyjane78]
