sounding you out............
sounding you out............ the tail end of ernesto is visiting today and the wind is strong. i love the sound of the wind through the leaves of the trees. sounds i like: my saying - "Ma!" the snoring of my Man next to me (he will of course deny that he snores but i taped him once just to prove it ) laughing outside my window the first birdsong of the morning bullfrogs the chaos of everyone talking at once when my family is all together the deep rumble of D's voice in my ear when i can't sleep and he talks nonsense to relax me the "you've got mail" voice on my PC a cello - i have an acquaintance that does tonal cello pieces that literally vibrate through me the "ar roo ra oor" that my makes when he is wanting to have attention paid water over rocks a manual lawnmower - i still use one the pop of a jar when the seal is broken crackling of a fire - oh and the smell too this morning the neighborhood is very quiet and i can hear the soccer players down at the park when a baby yawns what sounds make you happy? what sounds make you cringe? You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

Happy (not in order) A well-played classical guitar The sound of the wind when I free-fly, catching my wing, singing through my lines The sound of my altimeter when I find a thermal A child's sounds of innocent joy A cat purring The sounds of sexual pleasure The pat-patter of raindrops on the conservatory roof Birdsong The chirping of crickets The sounds of the seaside .... waves lapping the shore, seagulls crying out .... Sometimes when I go flying I simply sit on the hilltop, shut my eyes and listen to the sounds of the English countryside. A beautiful natural orchestration of sounds. Cringe (not in order) People shouting at each other Foxes mating A dentist's drill .... even though I am not phobic about the dentist's Marching boots Car horns used to bully other drivers warm xx

what is it about that whine of the drill that is so god awful? and what is an altimeter and how does a thermal sound? a cringe for me - cats mating - do foxes sound the same? You cannot conceive the many without the one.

nice morning to you precious, I enjoy quiet mornings with coffee, the sound of the nearby train when it goes by at midnight, my animals playing, my family doing what they do lol ... the waves crashing, seagulls taking flight, the sound of the sky when it cries, the birds ahhh...so many things I love to hear. I enjoy hearing "this has been taken care of Ma'am" when I didn't expect it. Building in progress, hammers, listening to the placement of shells being placed in their garden. When the gravel drops...that is soothing to me. I enjoy laughter, the sounds of the airport while getting everyone together....which at times turns into a courtesy match LOL I'll leave a mere list for things that I don't care for ... one being I can't do this. Anytime that sound is projected at me, I don't cringe. However, it does place my mind in a different state. Chewing gum being popped, nails on a chalk-board. Most of the time, I try and stay away from things I don't like to hear. It's difficult at best but typically I manage to reserve my last nerve. Hugs and love being sent your way easy. My best to you and yours. For all time and then some. With Love, Hunter {=} After all the sex is gone, there is the mind - Lady Hunter / BAB Copyright © House of Lady Hunter 1998-2009

I love the sound of my husband singing to himself in the bathroom, the gurgling of a coffee pot, children singing at Christmas, footfalls in fresh virgin snow, my husband's heart beating when I lay with him as we fall asleep. I absolutely loathe the sound of my alarm clock going off, especially on freezing winter mornings!
